It is a research institution boasting vast resources of documentation and archaeological material, which together with its specialised environmental and technical laboratories, provide an excellent basis for up-to-date archaeological, ethnological and historical investigations. A part of Institute’s scientific mission is offering III degree education, which has the advantage of integrating doctoral students with outstanding scientists. In all research centers of the Institute there is designated person to care for doctoral students. The Institute will actively promote Erasmus activities through its web site as well as in the form of e-mails to students and staff.
